Training Formats

Choose the training format that works for you

Arts workers are busy. Really busy. We get it. That’s why NAMP offers a variety of training formats designed to fit the schedules and needs of your constituents.

Custom Workshops help arts organizations improve marketing know-how, enhance audience development skills, and find new ways to build earned income. Choose from a variety of workshop topics  taught by world-class instructors—or customize a training program to meet your unique needs. NAMP offers three flexible training formats:

NAMP Basics workshops teach essential marketing skills for organizations of all sizes, art forms, and regions. Attendees discover new frameworks and approaches they can use immediately to identify and solve their marketing challenges. Popular NAMP Basics workshops include:

  • Arts Website Fundamentals
  • Audience Diversity
  • Corporate Sponsorship
  • Branding
  • Direct Response Marketing
  • How to Write a Marketing Plan
  • Low Cost Marketing Methods
  • Motivating New Arts Audiences

NAMP Balance workshops focus learning on multiple topics or multiple levels over an extended period of time. This customized workshop series can offer beginner and advanced learning tracks, or address many arts marketing topics. NAMP also can provide strategic organizational consulting with advanced marketers through this program.

NAMP Boot Camp is an 8-day comprehensive training program that prepares key staff to effectively collaborate on a long-term marketing approach. Attendees raise their skills to an advanced level, and emerge with a savvy marketing plan. Boot Camp has been very successful when paired with a local implementation funding program.

Annual NAMP Conference is the premier event for arts marketers and fundraisers—four days of non-stop networking and education that will energize you for the rest of the year. Visit the conference site.
