More than 500 arts marketers and professionals attended the 2009 National Arts Marketing Project Conference this October 30 – November 2 in Providence, Rhode Island. CollaborAction: Arts Marketing, Sponsorship and Fundraising Strategies that Work! provided forward-thinking training for marketers and fundraisers alike with more than 100 speakers and presenters. We hope the social media tools on this page can help galvanize the NAMP Conference experience for those who attended and share valuable information for those who couldn’t make this year’s gathering.
Two NAMP conference speakers discuss the takeaways from their sessions and address the Conference as a whole. Rich Mintz, an online fundraising guru who works for Blue State Digital, focuses on how important it is for organizations to try new things. Deborah Obalil, of Obalil & Associates, speaks to the need for independent artists to invest time and resources into marketing themselves.
