Chris Erickson’s professional career began in Seattle WestCoast Hotels, and has been serving individuals for more than 25 years. Having exceeded guest expectations for numerous celebrities, dignitaries, professionals, and travelers, Coast Hotels (formerly called WestCoast Hotels) gave him the opportunity to open the premier Paramount Hotel in Portland, Oregon, in 1999. In 2005, Mr. Erickson joined a Forbes Fortune 130 national retail organization as store director. In 2006 his $27+ million operation was ranked #1 in guest service and in the top 25 operationally out of 400 stores. In July of 2006, Mr. Erickson joined Rim Hospitality as the general manager of the 4-star Heathman Hotel, Portland’s premier, full-service luxury hotel.  Mr. Erickson currently serves on several community and executive boards, including on the Oregon Tourism Commission to which he was appointed to by the Governor of Oregon in 2008. Mr. Erickson currently also serves on the Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), Travel Portland Executive Board, the Board of Directors of the Oregon Historical Society. In 2008 Mr. Erickson received the prestigious American Hotel and Lodging Associations State Leadership award for the State of Oregon.
